Duration: 3 Months
Providing exceptional medical care to patients in our high-acuity Emergency Department (ED)
You will work 12-hour shifts with the support of advanced practice providers (APPs)
Annual Volume - Approx. 28,000 Patients
Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, evaluating and managing acute medical conditions, injuries, and emergencies
Conduct thorough medical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop appropriate treatment plans for patients.
Stabilize and manage critically ill patients, including those requiring resuscitation and advanced life support interventions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, consult with specialists, and arrange appropriate transfers, if necessary.
Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for the management of emergency cases, ensuring high-quality and evidence-based care.
Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide education, support, and a patient-centered care experience.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong decision-making and critical thinking skills.
ABEM/AOBEM Certification Required
Medical Degree (MD or DO)
Active TX License
BC - Emergency Residency Trained - Required
