Physician / Pathology / Michigan / Locum or Permanent / Surgical AP/CP Pathologist opening in central Michigan Job

Seeking an eager and dedicated full time BC/BC pathologist. 35 to 50 cases read per day, split between 2 pathologists. Monday - Friday 8a to 5 p. Call Schedule: Weekly (alternate week), start at Friday 5:00 pm, finish at next Friday 8:00am. Assist in the preparation and performance of human tissue examinations Complete dissection provide description of certain surgical cases daily Selects and submits appropriate sections for routine microscopic examinations, frozen sections, etc. Covers clinical laboratory, including blood bank Supports surgical department for select procedures Surgical pathology, GI pathology, GU pathology, neuropathology, dermatopathology, hematopathology, cytology (No GYN cytology specimen) Compensation and Benefits include : Base salary with RVU-based incentive Relocation Allowance Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick, CME) CME Allowance Retirement Plan (403(b) Plan and 457 (b with employer matching contributions available Life, Health, Dental and Vision Long-Term, Short-Term Disability Professional Liability Coverage w/Tail The Community: Located in the central part of Michigan's Lower Peninsula, situated along the Saginaw River, it's part of the Saginaw-Midland-Bay City metropolitan area.
