The Director of the Benjamin Leon Center for Geriatric Research & Education in the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine will provide strategic vision and leadership to develop local, regional, and national excellence for the educational, research, and professional development initiatives of the Center. The successful candidate is expected to have a significant record of sustained accomplishments in extramurally funded basic, translational, epidemiological, or clinical research.
