Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Healthcare United, a progressive academic health system in central New York, is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our comprehensive Department of Psychiatry. As a Psychiatrist at Healthcare United, you will:

• Provide psychiatric evaluations and assessments for a diverse patient population.
  
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications for inpatient and outpatient settings.
  
• Work within a comprehensive psychiatric care system, including:
  • 14-bed acute inpatient psychiatry unit.
    
  • Consult services for Med-Surg inpatients at affiliate hospitals.
    
  • Psychiatric consultations to Emergency Departments throughout the network.
    
  • Outpatient Psychiatry Clinics (OMH-licensed) with satellite locations and extensive telepsychiatry services.
    
• Provide occasional Consult-Liaison Psychiatry coverage, including telepsych services to other hospitals in the network.
  
• Participate in inpatient call with a 1:5 weekday rotation and one weekend per month.
  

• MD, DO, or MBBS with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
  
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
  
• New York State Medical License (or eligibility).
  
• BLS Certification Required.
  
• DEA Registration Required.
  

Financial Rewards:

• Salary Range: $255,008 - $300,000, with performance-based incentives and no earnings cap.
