Sr Sharepoint Developer

Sg2 Recruiting is partnering with Burnt Toast Labs and is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer to join our team and support mission-critical operations. This role involves designing, customizing, and deploying workflows, websites, web parts, and custom tools using a variety of programming languages. You will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and security of SharePoint environments while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions. The role involves full-time on-site work (SCIF).

Candidates with advanced skills and experience may be considered for a Senior Technical Specialist role, which includes leadership and knowledge management responsibilities.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Designing and Implementing Solutions:
  • Automate workflows, build web-based solutions and create custom tools using PowerShell, JavaScript, CSS, .NET, HTML, and related technologies.
  • Develop and maintain forms to capture and store data efficiently.
• SharePoint Administration:
  • Customize, integrate, and upgrade SharePoint in engineering, test, and production environments.
  • Manage user permissions, document libraries, and workflows in alignment with security and operational policies.
• System Maintenance and Updates:
  • Install and test new releases, updates, and patches.
  • Perform data backups and ensure recovery procedures to safeguard information.
• User Support and Collaboration:
  • Provide technical support to users and team members.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
• Enhancing Data Management:
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and web-based capabilities to improve information accessibility.
  • Maintain Managed File Shares (MFS) and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.

What You Will Need:

• Clearance: TS/SCI with a polygraph active within the past six years (or willingness to retake and pass before starting).
• Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, including:
    • 3 years in a SharePoint developer role.
    • 5 years in SharePoint Server engineering.
    • 3 years of client interaction and independent leadership experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in workflow design, web development, and debugging using PowerShell, JavaScript, CSS, .NET, and HTML.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

If You Have This, It's A Plus:

• Security+ or other IAT II/III-level certification.
• Team leadership experience.
