Objective:
The goal is for the Santa Clara County Library to end up with a Hub Site, sub-sites and global navigation menus consistent throughout the organization to provide staff with easy navigation and a consistent look and feel.
Typical Deliverables:
The library seeks an expert SharePoint consultant to design and train internal staff to implement a robust, flexible, versatile and user-friendly intranet with SharePoint out of the box functionality. There is a little used custom SharePoint site that needs to be retired. Staff have already set up a number of separate new SharePoint pages though we need assistance in connecting the information into a central hub with templates for each department that allows staff to easily populate content.
The consultant will work with a team of library staff to evaluate what is in place and then offer a suggested design and next steps to develop our connected intranet. Consultant will also offer individual and group training to Library staff to utilize SharePoint in future state.
Required Skills & Abilities:
• Comprehensive knowledge of SharePoint platforms including SharePoint 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and SharePoint Online/M365, and related Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
