This opportunity offers an exciting opportunity to support Axiom's commercial space station program as a part-time employee. This is a hybrid role that will allow for some remote work. Join us and contribute to the exciting future of commercial space exploration! Key Duties : Develop and maintain simulation software for the Axiom commercial space station program. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand simulation requirements and ensure accurate representation of the space station's systems and processes. Design, implement, and test simulation models using industry-standard software tools. Analyze simulation results to identify system behavior, performance, and potential issues. Update and optimize simulation software to improve accuracy, efficiency, and user experience. Work closely with project leads to provide technical expertise and support decision-making processes. details ats requisition requirements Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. Proven experience as a Simulation Software Engineer or similar role. Proficiency in simulation software development using tools such as Simulink, LabVIEW, or similar. Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB. Familiarity with system dynamics and control theory. Knowledge of space systems and orbital mechanics. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
