Full Stack Software Engineers eager to integrate data with cutting-edge technologies. In this role as a Manager Software Engineer, you will have the chance to lead a major transformation at Capital One.
What You'll Do: - Oversee a range of exciting technology projects while leading a skilled team, utilizing expertise in distributed microservices and full-stack development to create solutions that align with the company's regulatory requirements.
- Stay ahead of tech trends by exploring and implementing new technologies. Share your knowledge through mentoring and participating in technology communities.
- Work closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans to achieve financial success.
- Employ programming skills in JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, and utilize Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, along with Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering (internship experience is not counted).
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
- A minimum of 2 years in a people management role.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree.
- 7+ years of experience in JavaScript, React, or Node.JS.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or similar cloud services.
- 4+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.
- 5+ years of experience in people management.
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.
