Front End Web/SharePoint Developer I

Overview

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Front End Web/SharePoint Developer I, involving SharePoint development activities for an existing government client. The place of performance is in Rosslyn, VA.

Responsibilities

• Engage in design, building, implementation, and maintenance of innovative information technology applications.
• Join a collaborative team environment, providing leadership necessary toward the successful delivery of projects and effective communication with customer and staff for reporting project status.
• Provide innovative solutions to effectively streamline customer's processes.
• Applicable knowledge of API/RESTful services through SharePoint.
• Experience providing customer support.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including explaining technical and program requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated organizational skills in data management and maintenance.
• Must be able to work independently and with a team.
• Strong time management and attention to detail skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related is desirable.
• Minimum of three years of experience in using JQuery, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Two years of experience with sites, site collections and list and libraries SharePoint 2013, 2016, SharePoint Online and/or Office 365.
• One year of experience of SharePoint Designer and workflow implementation.
• Three years of experience in Front End Web/SharePoint Development.
• Applicable knowledge of API/RESTful services through SharePoint.
• Experience providing customer support.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including explaining technical and program requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrate organizational skills in data management and maintenance.
• Must be able to work independently and with a team.
• Strong time management and attention to detail skills.
