The successful candidate will be a seasoned Oracle Licensing Subject Matter Expert, tasked with providing in-depth technical and strategic knowledge of Oracle's licensing models, policies, and processes. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to optimize Oracle license usage, conducting license audits, and ensuring compliance with Oracle's terms and conditions. The VP will also be responsible for collaborating with legal, procurement, and finance teams to review and negotiate licensing agreements, as well as creating and maintaining documentation related to licensing. Staying abreast of Oracle's evolving licensing models and industry trends is essential, as is the ability to act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders. Applicants for the Interim Vice President of Professional Services - Oracle Licensing position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years experience in Oracle licensing and/or Oracle software asset management, with a strong background in licensing audits, compliance, and contract negotiations. The role requires a deep understanding of Oracle's licensing models, pricing structures, and associated policies, as well as proficiency in Oracle License Management tools and Microsoft Excel. Relevant certifications in Oracle licensing or ITIL are a plus.
