About the Role

The Company is seeking an Information Security Data Analyst with a focus on Application Security. The successful candidate will be tasked with analyzing program data from various systems to provide insights on the effectiveness of security controls. This role requires a strong analytical thinker who enjoys solving complex problems, has a good understanding of security policies in the context of the application SDLC, and can build effective visualizations using dashboards. Responsibilities include data analysis, enhancing and refining metrics, developing data visualization mock-ups, and designing solutions for performance measurements. The role also involves documenting data extraction and transformation rules, analyzing trends in security posture, and providing timely and actionable reporting on application vulnerability activity. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in data analysis and report development, with a strong background in BI tools and relational databases. Excellent skills in Excel, Access, and SQL are essential, as is a strong understanding of the application development life cycle, CI/CD, and DevOps concepts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in issue resolution, excellent documentation, organization, and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to influence and manage relationships. Experience in information security and/or application security is highly preferred. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, with a Master's degree being a plus. The role demands a proactive individual who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and who is committed to ensuring data integrity and compliance.
