About the Role

The Company is seeking a Regional Vice President, Benefits Compliance to join their team of consultative advisors and problem solvers. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance on a wide range of laws related to health and welfare plans, including ERISA, PPACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and the Internal Revenue Code. This role involves responding to compliance inquiries, conducting compliance checklist reviews, and staying up-to-date with the evolving legislative and regulatory landscape. The Regional VP will also be involved in conducting seminars, webinars, and internal training, as well as owning regional compliance initiatives in collaboration with sales and account management leaders. Applicants for the Regional Vice President, Benefits Compliance position at the company should have a minimum of 4 years' experience in employee benefits and/or compliance, with a strong preference for those with brokerage or consultant account management experience. While a law degree is not required, attorneys will be considered, and a CEBS designation or equivalent industry experience is a plus. The role demands a candidate with in-depth knowledge of laws and regulations governing health and welfare plans, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess a strong sense of business ethics and integrity.
