About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of E-Commerce to lead the strategic development and execution of the company's E-commerce strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth and enhancing the overall customer experience through the optimization of E-commerce B2B direct sale websites. This role requires a data and process-oriented individual with a strong background in managing internal teams, outside consultants, and agencies. The VP of E-Commerce will be expected to provide strong leadership to a dedicated E-commerce team, manage E-commerce technology, development, IT, and advertising costs, and ensure that the E-commerce portfolio aligns with the company's brand guidelines and strategic priorities. Applicants must have a BA/BS with 10-15 years' of relevant working experience and a proven track record in E-commerce leadership. The role demands a leader who is adept at both the marketing and technical aspects of high-performance E-commerce sites, with experience in optimizing online sales channels, maximizing profitability, and managing P&Ls. The VP will also be responsible for overseeing the operation, optimization, and analytics of E-commerce platforms, managing relationships with E-commerce platform providers and technology vendors, and coordinating with marketing and demand generation teams to enhance the online presence. Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to stay informed about industry trends and best practices in E-commerce and digital marketing. The ideal candidate will have experience with the agile development process and be able to use data to drive continuous improvement.
