About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations for Anesthesiology to play a key role in the strategic and operational management of anesthesiology services within the surgery business line. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth, financial performance, quality improvement, and clinical excellence of these services. This pivotal position requires a strong partnership with providers, clinical leadership, and other key departments to ensure the company's vision is realized through effective operational strategies. The VP will be accountable for operational alignment, budget setting, process improvement, and the recruitment and retention strategy for anesthesiology providers. Applicants for the Vice President of Operations, Anesthesiology role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business administration or healthcare operations, with a preference for a Master's degree, M.D., or advanced nursing degree. A minimum of 7 years of management experience in a healthcare setting, or an equivalent combination of healthcare and managerial experience, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business acumen, and leadership in physician/provider relationship management, operations, and finance. Experience in anesthesiology operations and knowledge of the regulatory environment as it relates to a multi-specialty physician network are also preferred. The role demands a strategic thinker who can drive clinical standardization, and optimization and is adept at identifying and analyzing opportunities for business growth.
