About the Role
The Company is seeking an (Associate) Vice-President for Water/Wastewater to oversee the entire project delivery process, from initial research to final design and construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, including providing on-the-job training to enhance the skills of team members, working on multiple projects simultaneously, and ensuring that all work is completed within set deadlines. This role also involves serving as a liaison between the administrative and finance functions and technical personnel, as well as leading a team of engineers and technical professionals. The Vice-President will be expected to be actively involved in professional associations and community organizations to foster partnerships within the served community. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, a Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation in the State of Texas or the ability to acquire it within 6 months, and a minimum of 10 years of experience managing water and wastewater personnel. Additionally, a minimum of 15 years of experience in potable water and wastewater design is required. The role demands a proven track record in effective communication, the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships, and a strong background in leading and mentoring engineering and technical teams. The Vice-President will also be responsible for overseeing the technical and professional development of the project teams and conducting investigations related to compliance and regulatory issues.
