About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of providing community-based housing and comprehensive services to women, gender-diverse individuals, and their families. The ideal candidate will be a servant-leader with a strong commitment to the housing-first model, self-determination, and empowering community members. The CEO will be responsible for internal management, including leadership, program oversight, and general management, as well as external representation, focusing on resource development and public advocacy. This role requires a dynamic, caring, and collaborative leader with a proven track record in fundraising, strategic vision, and the ability to manage a complex organization. The successful candidate will also be a champion for social justice, with a deep understanding of the issues faced by the community and a history of effective leadership in addressing racial, social, and economic inequities. Candidates for the CEO position at the company should have a passion for the organization's mission and a strong background in leadership, management, and fundraising. Experience in a senior leadership role within a nonprofit, government, or private sector organization is essential, with a preference for those who have a history of successful and visionary leadership. The CEO must be adept at building and nurturing relationships, both internally and externally, and be able to engage and inspire a diverse range of stakeholders. A clear understanding of the power of community and a commitment to promoting a culture of performance excellence, equity, and cultural competency are also key qualities. The role demands a leader who is politically astute, financially aware, and able to work collaboratively to maximize the contributions of staff and the Board of Directors.
