About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving financial objectives, ensuring the integrity of accounting information, and maintaining compliant business processes. This role involves supporting the business president as part of the senior leadership team, providing financial insight, and collaborating on the preparation and management of the annual budget. The VP of Finance will also oversee audits, identify trends through reporting and analysis, and work with the business and leadership to implement process improvements and enhance margin efficiencies. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, at least 5 years' of experience, and a background as a manufacturing or plant controller. The role requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, strong ERP experience (with a preference for Lawson), and a solid foundation in cost accounting. The VP of Finance will be expected to have strong analytical and management skills, the ability to travel up to 25%, and a proven track record in financial management. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and management reporting, as well as supervising a team and providing training in finance management, budgeting, and SOX compliance.
