About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Financial Services to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the college's controllership functions, including directing, coordinating, and overseeing various financial, accounting, and treasury operations. This role involves maintaining the integrity of financial records, preparing internal and external financial statements, and serving as the main point of contact for all required audits and financial reporting. The Executive Director will also be tasked with establishing financial policies and standards and ensuring compliance with government and accrediting body regulations. Additionally, the role includes supervising and providing leadership for the financial staff across all campus locations. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree. A minimum of 5 years of financial reporting experience, with at least 3 years in a management position, is required. The ideal candidate will have a CPA, CMA, CIA, or similar active licensure, and a strong knowledge of state and federal financial reporting requirements, GAAP, and GASB guidelines. Skills in delegation, organization, project management, decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal relations are essential.
