About the Role
The Company is seeking a Global AML Trade Finance Advisory Compliance Manager, Vice President to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Global Financial Crimes Division, with a focus on providing expert advice and guidance on AML risks related to trade finance. This role involves supporting the implementation and revision of the global trade finance AML framework, policies, and procedures, as well as overseeing the effectiveness of the control framework for clients using trade products. The role also includes regular coordination with regional and local AML officers, engagement with first-line business leaders, and remaining current on industry developments and best practices. Applicants should have a minimum of 7 years' of financial industry and compliance experience, with a preference for those who have worked in a global organization. A strong background in trade finance is essential, as is a BA or BS degree. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and experience with FATF and Wolfsberg guidance on AML and sanctions in the context of trade finance, as well as expertise in banking laws and regulations. The role requires a collaborative individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to work autonomously. The candidate should also possess solid judgment, negotiation skills, and the ability to balance regulatory requirements with the best interests of the business and its customers. International travel may be necessary for this position.
