About the Role

The Company is seeking an inaugural Dean of Students to champion student success and lead the development and implementation of innovative student services programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a dynamic portfolio that includes residential life, career services, and intercultural engagement, with a focus on driving outcomes such as retention, persistence, and graduation. This role involves crisis planning, fostering an inclusive campus environment, and managing a team to ensure the delivery of high-quality student services. The Dean of Students will also be tasked with identifying and implementing creative programs that address higher education trends and advance the mission of the university. Applicants for the Dean of Students position at the company should have a Master's degree in a related field (Doctorate preferred) and at least 5 years of experience in a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role. The role requires a strong understanding of student affairs best practices, knowledge of applicable legislation and standards in higher education, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and evaluating student success programs, as well as strong leadership, conflict resolution, and crisis intervention skills. The Dean of Students will be expected to work effectively within a diverse community, foster a cooperative work environment, and ensure compliance with professional ethical standards in all areas of functional responsibility.
