About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Information Technology/CISO to play a pivotal role in the strategic, cost-effective, and secure delivery of IT services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the reliable operation of the IT back-office and client-facing IT environment, as well as the support of business applications. This leadership position demands a change agent with a strong track record in IT vision and a focus on maximizing the value of IT investments. The VP will be accountable for maintaining a risk-managed, regulation-compliant, and secure IT environment, and will spend a significant portion of their time on IT strategy, vendor management, and supervision. A hands-on approach to technology management is also required, particularly in the areas of network, databases, systems engineering, and access. Applicants for the VP, Information Technology/CISO role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. Nationally recognized information security and risk management credentials are also desirable. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years' of experience in the IT field, with a minimum of 5 years' in information security program leadership, particularly in highly regulated industries. Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills are essential, as is a thorough knowledge of IT, including hybrid cloud environments, virtualized computing systems, and cybersecurity. The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical and research skills, and a proven track record in IT financial management and budget forecasting. Experience in managing human capital and a collaborative, results-oriented approach are key to success in this position.
