About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer to provide strategic leadership and support in all compliance and privacy matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive, risk-based compliance program that ensures adherence to relevant federal and state laws and regulations. This includes the creation of written policies, standards of conduct, and effective training initiatives for all employees. The role also involves managing a compliance committee, leading a compliance and privacy auditing program, and establishing open lines of communication for reporting and addressing compliance issues. The Chief Compliance Officer will be the primary liaison with the Board of Directors on compliance concerns and will be expected to stay current on regulatory changes that may impact the company. Applicants for the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience in compliance and privacy within a healthcare environment. A Master's degree and relevant certifications are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of healthcare compliance and privacy regulations, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven track record in change management. The role requires the ability to make sound decisions under pressure, effective time and project management, and the capacity to lead a team in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
