The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to lead the strategic growth and expansion of its market presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy, fostering strategic partnerships, and leading a team of business development professionals. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the decarbonization landscape, strong industry connections, and a proven track record in business development within the industrial tech, advanced materials, or environmental technology sectors. Key responsibilities include team leadership, building and implementing business development processes, identifying and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and leading contract negotiations to secure high-value deals. Applicants for the Vice President of Business Development position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, environmental science, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' of experience in business development. Experience in the cement industry and a solid network within that sector are preferred. The role demands an individual with a strong understanding of the decarbonization and carbon utilization sectors, excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, and the ability to travel as required. A background in project financing, legal aspects of commercial contracts, and experience in a start-up environment are also desirable. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead strategic initiatives, close high-value deals, and foster long-term commercial relationships to drive carbon upcycling deployment across multiple projects.
