The VP of Engineering will also be tasked with inspiring and managing a large engineering team, driving performance, and creating career growth opportunities. Candidates for this role at The Company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in engineering management, with a proven track record of scaling teams and driving product differentiation in a competitive marketplace. Deep industry knowledge, particularly in the areas of data-driven leadership, machine learning, and modern platform architectures, is essential. The role requires a leader with strong abilities in fostering innovation, collaboration, and cross-functional team alignment, as well as a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to drive solutions that enhance commerce capabilities. A Bachelor's degree in engineering and a Master's degree in computer science are preferred, but not mandatory.
