About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel with a focus on technology licensing, privacy, and security to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and closing a variety of business agreements, including those related to privacy and data protection, with a particular emphasis on enterprise customers in highly regulated industries. This role requires a pragmatic problem solver with a passion for technology and a deep understanding of data protection laws, regulations, and emerging state data regulations. The Senior Corporate Counsel will also be involved in developing and driving legal compliance policies, providing training on legal matters, and supporting the continuous improvement of legal processes. Applicants must have a JD degree from an accredited law school, a current law license, and at least 5 years of legal experience focusing on technology licensing, security, and privacy, with a preference for those who have worked in-house with a high-growth enterprise SaaS company. The role demands exceptional interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and negotiating skills, as well as the ability to work with a wide variety of people in a fast-paced environment. A strong team player with a service-oriented and professional approach, the ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess outstanding written and oral communication skills. The position is based in the company's office and is not remote.
