About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Global Medical Affairs with a focus on breast disease. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive global medical affairs plan for breast and women's cancers. This includes leading the data generation strategy, representing medical affairs in clinical development team meetings, and influencing the development of disease and product-specific clinical strategies. The role also involves leading the scientific communications team in publication strategy, working cross-functionally on advisory meetings, and building strong relationships with key opinion leaders and institutions globally. The Executive Director will be a strategic leader, with a strong background in oncology, and will be accountable for compliant business practices. Applicants must have an advanced degree in a relevant field with subspecialty training in oncology, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a preference for those with extensive experience in breast cancer therapeutics. The role requires a deep understanding of global clinical study design, drug development processes, and a proven track record in a leadership position. Essential skills include high-level communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities, as well as a strong background in GCP and ICH guidelines.
