About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources and Culture to join their Senior Executive Council. The successful candidate will lead the HR team, aligning HR strategies with organizational values and objectives, and overseeing all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This includes organizational development, employee relations, talent acquisition and management, compensation, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, training, and policy administration. The VP will also be responsible for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and ensuring that the organization's culture reflects its values. The role requires a strategic and operational leader with a proven track record in HR, a commitment to DEIB, and the ability to manage change in a fast-paced environment. Candidates for the VP role should have at least 15 years' of progressive HR experience, with a focus on strategic leadership, people management, and culture development. A strong background in HR functions, including compensation development and management, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP credential, experience in a social services nonprofit, and a deep understanding of DEIB. They should be adept at problem-solving, decision-making, and project management, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization. Familiarity with HRIS systems, such as ADP, and experience working with a unionized workforce are preferred. The role demands a leader with a collaborative and inclusive style, who is dedicated to building a culture of workplace excellence and is capable of preparing data-driven reports and statements.
