About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its senior management team. The CFO will be responsible for the financial management and strategy of the organization, including supervising the accounting staff, budget management, fiscal compliance, and serving as the chief financial spokesperson. This role requires a passionate individual with a Master's degree in business or finance, 7-10 years experience in financial management, and a preference for a licensed CPA. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a complex financial environment, be adept at producing impactful financial reports, and have experience with fund accounting. Strong technical financial skills, excellent communication, and prior supervisory experience are essential. Key responsibilities for the CFO at the company include developing and implementing internal financial control procedures, preparing essential financial reports, and ensuring adherence to accounting and financial regulations. The CFO will also be involved in the preparation of budgets, attending Board of Director meetings, and overseeing the audit process. The ideal candidate will be able to interact professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate unimpeachable integrity. Additionally, the CFO will be expected to engage in occasional work-related travel and assist with various financial aspects of the organization, including grant applications, vendor contracts, and insurance coverage.
