About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Academic Affairs to provide strategic leadership and vision for all academic programs in a student-centered environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the curriculum, fostering a diverse and cohesive leadership team, and overseeing the systematic review of programs. This role involves long-range planning, budgeting, and development, as well as compliance with accreditation standards. The VPAA will also be part of the Executive Council, coordinating with various departments to support the institution's mission and strategic goals. Candidates for the Vice President for Academic Affairs position at the company should have an earned doctorate or appropriate terminal degree, a proven track record of higher education leadership, and a strong commitment to student success. The role requires a leader with a consultative and collaborative decision-making style, a focus on inclusivity, and the ability to manage financial resources effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in both face-to-face and asynchronous course delivery, a background in STEM and management of STEM degrees, and a history of building quality academic programs. Preferred qualifications include experience in teaching, service, and scholarship, as well as a background in both the private sector and higher education. The VPAA will be expected to work closely with all university constituents, maintain a high level of integrity, and be a team player dedicated to the success of the institution.
