About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead the strategic growth and innovation of its ambulatory surgery center services. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing physician partnerships, setting and executing the division's growth strategy, and overseeing the clinical, financial, and operational performance of the division. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in operational management, including quality oversight, efficiency, cost management, risk management, and regulatory compliance. The VPO will also be tasked with fostering a people-centric, success-oriented culture, and ensuring the division has the necessary people and processes in place to drive performance. Candidates for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a relevant field, and a minimum of 10 years' healthcare operations management experience. The role demands a leader with excellent interpersonal, management, and communication skills, who can work effectively with physicians, staff, and external customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-state integrated healthcare delivery systems, with direct P&L experience, and a proven ability to drive team success and achieve organizational objectives. A growth mindset, a passion for continuous learning, and the ability to manage ambiguity in a highly matrixed organization are essential. The role also requires a willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
