About the Role

The Company is seeking a Global Financial Crimes - Complex Investigations Manager, Vice President to lead its Global Complex Investigations (GCI) function. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of GCI, managing a global team, and coordinating complex investigations into potential financial crimes that could significantly impact the organization. This role requires a professional with a substantial background in AML, BSA, and financial crimes, who can engage with law enforcement and peer institutions to stay abreast of relevant typologies. The GCI Manager will also work closely with Financial Crimes Advisory partners to ensure that identified risks are effectively mitigated. Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 8-10 years of experience in a related function within a bank, government agency, or law enforcement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of excellence in execution, the ability to manage multiple projects, and experience in setting and implementing strategic direction. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to interact with executive-level stakeholders. The role demands a detail-oriented, organized, and process-oriented individual with executive-level presentation skills and an enterprise risk management perspective. Additional skills that would be beneficial include experience with banking regulators and a thorough understanding of an effective financial crimes risk management framework.
