About the Role

The Company is seeking an HR Business Partner for the state of California. This remote role, with a focus on regular travel to California venues, is pivotal in driving and executing people operations initiatives that align with the company's core values. The successful candidate will be a trusted business partner, responsible for all HR-related matters within the state, and must have a deep understanding of California labor and HR laws. Key responsibilities include representing the company in new venue onboarding, resolving employee relations issues, conducting investigations, and providing guidance on performance management, compensation, and recruitment practices. The role demands a high level of expertise in California labor law, particularly in the areas of wage and hour, training, and benefits compliance. Applicants for the HR Business Partner position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have at least 5 years experience as a senior HR generalist or business partner, preferably in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. The role requires the ability to travel, a commitment to confidentiality, and a proven track record of effectively managing HR functions. The ideal candidate will be bilingual, have intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with HR systems is essential, with a preference for those familiar with ADP, iCIMS, and Lattice.
