About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Turnaround and Restructuring Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in business restructuring and bankruptcy-related engagements, as well as for marketing and networking to secure new business. This role involves taking the lead in both company-side and creditor-side restructuring and turnaround work, and in some cases, interim management engagements. The Managing Director will also be involved in preparing and executing engagement strategies, presenting work products, and interacting with clients on complex financial issues. Superior financial restructuring and bankruptcy technical skills are essential, as is the ability to analyze cash flow projections and develop effective plans of action. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years experience in business restructuring and related consulting services is required, with at least 5 years in a management role. Professional certifications such as CIRA, CTP, CPA, or CFE are beneficial. The role demands excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage a team, build client relationships, and work in a deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have an executive presence, be adept at financial modeling, and have advanced knowledge of debt restructuring, cash flow, balance sheets, and the bankruptcy process.
