We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team as we are re-imaging provisioning and automating Infrastructure as Code through CI/CD Pipeline. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and optimize cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with Cloud Infrastructure / Platform/ Workload teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions in a fast-paced environment.

This role drives the technical direction and thought leadership with highly qualified software engineering skills that can work in tandem with Enterprise Pipeline teams to build and implement Infrastructure blessed pipeline and orchestration workflows. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and platform concepts, Vanguard application delivery pipeline, with GitHub preferred, Atmos and Terraform, an understanding of OIDC and Identity Federation are desired skills.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement new technologies and major releases for the most critical enterprise-wide IT cloud platform projects. Design, implement, and deploy cloud computing systems to support and meet business needs. Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions.
- Provide expert level technical support and ensure reliable operation of cloud production. Diagnose and troubleshoot the most complex issues for cloud computing systems on multiple platforms. Maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of software and infrastructure platforms.
- Develop technical standards. Test and evaluate IT vendor products. Review configuration parameters to optimize system performance and maximize operation uptime.
- Elevate code into the development, test, and production environments on schedule. Provide follow up production support. Submit change control requests and documents.
- Learn and understand client area business functions and requirements. Determine the appropriate technical tool to address the client's business needs.
- Train and mentor more junior staff on processes and technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve the most complex issues elevated from staff. Provide guidance and consultation as required. Update, write, and maintain documentation for the department.
- Administer system activities. Write the technical portion of assigned deliverables. Perform systems analysis, including system requirements analysis and definition, and logical design.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- You are passionate and have thought technical leadership to continuously improve confidence on Cloud Platform/ Infrastructure deployments and understand state of the infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Terraform/Atmos / GitHub Workflows.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Atmos
- Monitor and optimize Azure environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Have strong Software Engineering skills to collaborate with Platform and development teams to streamline the software/Platform development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build, deployment, and infrastructure.
- May manage containerization and orchestration.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for security, scalability, and reliability.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for processes, configurations, and procedures.
- Transferrable Cloud/ Software Engineering Skills
- Minimum of eight years related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
