This position will develop and coordinate research communications to all groups, internal and external, using a variety of strategies (written, web-based, in-person and virtual events, social media, etc.) to promote research, research resources, policies, funding opportunities, and research events and education programs, including managing those social media channels and website content for UNMC Research programs. This position is responsible for the conceptualization, independent writing and design, development, and implementation of a broad range of communications that will introduce UNMC research to prospective students, employees, and faculty, as well as inform the broader community about UNMC�s research mission. This position will require advanced skills in communication, message development, visual storytelling, communication planning, and strategy execution with a variety of research leaders to communicate to a variety of audiences. This position will also have to be committed to accurate reporting and have organizational skills to bring together events planned months in advance.
