Position Summary
The Research Project Coordinator will support the College of Public Health funded research. Will work with principal investigators to submit and maintain the research protocol to IRB, conduct data management, coordinate the efforts with internal and external partners, perform data analysis and contribute to the manuscript writing.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Health Science or related field

Required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work independently; effective oral and written communication skills; effective interpersonal, organizing, and collaboration skills; proficiency in use of computers, including MS Office applications and databases; and ability to meet deadlines are strongly desired. Relevant work experience in university research or research administration will also be valuable, as well as awareness of federal compliance regulations and guidelines for grants and contracts, and proficiency in technical writing, editing, and proofreading.
Preferred Education: Master's degree

Master’s degree in health economics, biomedical informatics, epidemiology, or biostatistics.

PhD in in health economics, biomedical informatics, epidemiology, or health service and administration research.
Preferred Experience:
Data extraction for electronic health records.
ICD-10 coding and data analysis using SAS.
