Position Summary
This is a grant-funded position within the Division of Infectious Disease at University of Nebraska Medical Center. The Data Manager will provide expertise to manage, manipulate, and analyze data to generate report results to required internal, external, State and Federal funding sources including Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) as mandated and requested. This position will be responsible for assisting the Ryan White (RW) Team with the design of data collections tools and the acquisition of data as required by funding sources.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Health Science, Social Science or related field

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with individuals from variety of backgrounds. Analytical and financial assessment capabilities to determine eligibility for variety of programs. Multi-task oriented with flexibility to adapt to changing programs. Effective time management skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent command of the English language. Ability and knowledge to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong computing skills. Ability to type 60 WPM.

Preferred Experience:
Healthcare, business, social work, or related field.
4 years in accounting, grant management, or related experience with HRSA.

Preferred Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience with Electronic Medical Records Especially Epic, accounting, grant writing experience, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grant operations, Ryan White government regulations, HIV patients.
Experience with insurance, and government insurance/benefit program eligibility rules and applications.
Prefer Bi-lingual, especially Spanish.
Knowledge of the policies and procedures of UNMC, and the College of Medicine. Medical terminology.
