Position Summary | The iEXCEL Adminstrative Associate provides support to the Associate Vice Chancellor, iEXCEL, the iEXCEL events team, and supports the iEXCEL leadership team with implementation of the iEXCEL academic, business, and community engagement missions. This front-line position supports the hosting of high-level visitors and events as well as scheduling strategic planning meetings, assisting with correspondence, scheduling, and providing routine support for the daily administrative tasks for the Associate Vice Chancellor. This position also aids with routine and non-routine activities for iEXCEL, as well the daily operational and administrative aspects of the Davis Global Center, including hosting and support for NU leadership, the NU Foundation, and/or senior executive staff who routinely utilize spaces within the Davis Global Center for meetings when on the Omaha campus. This person in this role will be responsible for providing the highest level of customer/concierge service for internal and external guests/visitors to the Davis Global Center. This includes welcoming, hosting and receiving all visitors, and working with the events team for coordination of strategic level events and tours that occur in the Davis Global Center. This individual communicates with multiple departments, consultants, community partners, faculty, and staff to promote, organize and support iEXCEL activities including community engagement efforts. This position provides support for each area within iEXCEL working closely with the Associate Vice Chancellor and the iEXCEL Leadership and Marketing/Community Engagement teams to support academic, business, and community outreach activities, events and tours for the Davis Global Center. |
