Overview of Position

Streck is recruiting for a Quality Control Specialist Intern to join our Quality Control Specialist Team. This position will work closely with our Quality Control Product Specialists.

Primary Responsibilities

Assist with running hematology and chemistry samples on automated instrumentation.
Assist in gathering data for improvement initiatives within QC, including use of LIMS and Excel for data analysis.
Complete appropriate records and documentation accurately, legibly and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

At least 16 years of age and enrolled in college (Freshman/Sophomore).
Working toward a degree in a science or technology related field.
Ability to work 40 hours per week (8am to 4:30pm M-F) for the summer period.
Strong computer skills.
Attention to detail.
Strong work ethic.

Work Schedule: 8-hour days on Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Dress Code Requirements: Casual.
