Aviation Technology Coordinator

This position is responsible for assisting Aviation Maintenance instructors in lab sessions as assigned by the academic dean. 

• Assist Aviation Maintenance students and instructors during lab
• Teach Aviation Maintenance students processes and procedures related to procuring parts from various supplies for the program
• Order materials and supplies for the Aviation Maintenance program
• Contact and coordinate recruiters/employers to visit with students

• Maintain parts inventories, pick up parts or schedule deliveries and distribute materials, parts, and tools
• Practice and enforce all safety procedures
• Use database applications to create and manage files and communicate information

• Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic's License
• Relevant experience in Aviation Maintenance
• Ability to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. driver's license and good driving record

• The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
• Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle.
