The Creighton University Athletic Department is now accepting applications for the position of Athletic Equipment Manager. This position will report to the Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations. Creighton, located in Omaha, Nebraska, competes in NCAA Division I as a member of the BIG EAST Conference.

The Athletic Equipment manager will be responsible for purchasing, management, distribution, collection and storage of athletic equipment. This individual will also be tasked with developing and managing the process for laundry services, including scheduling and managing the maintenance of laundry equipment and any other equipment needed to maintain the equipment room(s).

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
1 year experience in collegiate sports, professional sports or equipment and inventory management
Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Detail oriented for accuracy of information collected and given to coaches and student-athletes
Strong initiative to solve problems and engage in positive interactions with coaches and student-athletes
The ability to work evenings and weekends is required
Knowledge of NCAA rules
Prior experience in an athletic equipment room preferred
Experience with budget management preferred
Working knowledge of ordering from Nike, Adidas, Under Amour or other apparel and shoe provider systems preferred
