Creighton University College of Nursing is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in its on-site Paramedicine Program in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves developing, implementing, and coordinating the Departmentâ??s Critical Care Certification course. The candidate will also teach in the classroom and supervise students during practicum and simulation/lab experiences as needed. Additionally, as a faculty member this position will engage in overall curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation for the program. Other responsibilities include service and scholarship activities that align with the Collegeâ??s performance standards for rank and university expectations.
Candidates must possess the minimum of a Baccalaureate degree. A Masterâ??s Degree is preferred. Additionally, the candidate must hold certification as a Critical Care Paramedic (e.g., CCP-C). Candidates are required to hold current certification and an unencumbered license to practice as a Paramedic in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for such.
