Borsheims is looking for a full-time IT Support Engineer II to join our team. At Borsheims, we take pride in providing our Signature Service to every customer, and you will play a vital role in helping us do that. 

Our IT Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to all team members with their computers, phones, printers, laptops, and software applications; managing incoming requests via a ticketing system, phone, emails & chat; performing system installs and upgrades on a regular basis, vulnerability updates, and assisting IT department team members with projects. If you have prior IT support experience, have strong communication skills, and can manage requests and project prioritization, you may be the gem we’ve been searching for!

Qualified candidates should have:

  • A four-year degree in an IT-related field or two years of relevant experience are required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have strong communication skills in working with technical and non-technical people and the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relations among all levels of an organization.
  • Must have 2+ years of working experience with various technologies:
    • Microsoft Technologies: Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Print Management, Entra ID, Intune, Zero-touch configuration
    • Client OS: Windows 10 & 11
    • Network: Experience as it relates to end users
    • Software: Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Design Suite, Teams & SharePoint
    • Hardware: HP & Dell Servers, Desktops and Laptops
    • Must have experience working in a fast response ticketing system environment.
    • Point of Sale experience
  • Ability to manage request & project priorities

 

You Are:

  • Reliable. Monitor and maintain IT Support service requests within the ticketing system throughout the day, and provide on-call support when needed during and off business hours.
  • Solutions-Focused. Provide hardware and software technical support to end-users via email, phone and ticketing system. Identify, diagnose, and rectify any issues in computer hardware, software, services, and applications.
  • Organized. Maintain and document all hardware, licensing, software and other departmental information.  
  • Knowledgeable. Stay up to date on relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems. Provide continual security, operational and software suggestions to increase proficiency and effectiveness for all departments.
  • Collaborative. Work closely with different teams and third-party vendors, and work with department managers to ensure proper communication should installation and/or upgrade changes need to occur. 
  • Detailed-Oriented. Generate and maintain policies, procedures, and processes. Work with management & IT members on compliance such as PCI, SOX, HIPAA, and Privacy laws.
