This position is responsible for the overall financial health of the University. As a member of Cabinet, this position also assists with the creation and implementation of strategic vision and goals of the University.

  • Can provide strategic financial insight, manage financial risks, and ensure the financial health and sustainability of the institution
  • Has expertise in all areas of finance including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, audits, preparation of financial statements
  • Brings experience in not-for-profit accounting

Our Ideal Candidate’s Education and Experience Include:

  • Master’s in business administration, finance or related field; or CPA license with 10+ years of public or industry specific accounting experience
  • Experience in higher education

This Position’s Functions Include:

  • Accountability for business and financial systems, providing leadership for establishing policies and practices that govern both the current and future financial operations of the University
  • Serves as treasurer and meets all budget and auditing requirements specified by the Board
  • Staff support for the finance, audit, and investment committees of the board
  • Contributes to overall policy development and administrative management of the University
  • Oversees management of investments
  • Oversees Accounting, Human Resources, Student Accounts, and Student Financial Aid
  • Leads financing for major capital projects and operating needs
