Donor Engagement Program Manager - Remote (Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota)

Pay: $52,450 (experience will be compensated)

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Shift times: Monday-Friday, between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST

Location: Remote

Job type: Exempt

Travel: Travel and attend events and meetings across the five-state affiliate as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least one year of comparable demonstrated experience working with donors or high-level volunteers
  • Demonstrated experience working with culturally and racially diverse populations
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams and Sharepoint
  • Access to independent transportation, valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance, with willingness to drive to different locations as needed

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate donor programming that meaningfully engages diverse donor audiences and leverages partnerships for community-based fundraising toward the PPNCS Foundation’s goal to increase diversity within its donor community
  • Work collaboratively with internal partners to support volunteer-led donor engagement programs and events for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, young professional and other emerging donor communities and raise awareness of PPNCS’ funding priorities
  • Ensure diverse and emerging donor communities receive compelling and strategic engagement and recognition, including philanthropy and giving opportunities coordinated around recognition months, awareness days, holidays, special events, funding priorities, or by donor affinity groups to increase BIPOC and LGBTQ+ donor representation
  • Serve as a liaison and communicate regularly with volunteers and donors, including responding to inquiries, disseminating information, and routing requests
  • Manage community-based third-party events by working collaboratively with volunteers and local businesses to support brand alignment and gift processes
  • Establishes and maintains program structures and manages projects including scheduling and executing meetings, calls, and donor events; planning and executing donor and volunteer communications; and collaborating on mail and digital fundraising campaigns
  • Support the overall Donor Engagement program data processes, including entering event or meeting registrations and running queries and reports in Raiser’s Edge
  • Assist with other development activities and perform other duties as needed
  • Travel and attend events and meetings across the five-state affiliate as needed

This position is included in the SEIU bargaining unit, and depending on state law, requires union dues be deducted from employee paychecks in an amount up to 2.25% of gross pay.
