Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and experience Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role will perform a variety of maintenance tasks accurately and proficiently to ensure our production plant and offices are well-maintained and operational. This includes repairs of equipment along with the custodial duties needed.

Troubleshooting issues and assistance with carpentry, snow removal, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems within the manufacturing plant
Assists with installations and repairs, maintains physical structures of the building
Performs general, minor repairs such as (but not limited to) repairing drywall, painting, and repairing other building fixtures, etc
Inspections of grounds, parking lots and common areas
Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs for mechanical and electrical systems by using blueprints or equipment manuals as needed
Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, pipes, and electrical systems
Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts
Other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills

Must have experience and knowledge using any hand and power tools
General knowledge of electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems is highly preferred
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required, secondary education preferred
Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role, technical training in mechanical or electrical maintenance is preferred
Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and HVA
Valid driver’s license
