?The senior financial analyst-projects evaluates potential investments in accordance with organization objectives. This position develops detailed assessment reports using available data in support of investment activity, and performs other business analysis to identify impacts and risks to the business strategy.
?Provide support to senior management in Northern Natural Gas business development projects and potential investment opportunities. Activities may include analyzing acquisition and investment opportunities consistent with company strategy, conducting market research and analysis, and supporting data gathering and database maintenance. Other day-to-day duties include ensuring data integrity, participating in data quality control and validation, and producing requirements documents for various business development activities. (60-80%) Assist Northern Natural Gas Company departments with special projects including research, gathering and validating data, modeling and economic analysis and summarizing results for management. (15-20%) Develop metrics and reporting, prepare and present data, gather and maintain project information for multiple projects. (10-15%) Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. (5%)
?Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting, or related field. A master's degree is preferred. Four or more years of related experience in financial accounting, financial planning, finance, economics or other related experience. A self-starter with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Ability to interface with senior management. Thorough understanding of fixed income, equity, corporate finance and other financial markets. Advanced software skills in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
