Position Description
This leadership position provides an exciting opportunity for growth and success in a positive environmental consulting and engineering business. This position will manage staff as well as clients, conduct project oversight including project schedules and budgets, and client interface for a variety of environmental projects such as, AEI, SPCP, SPCC, EA, Title V Air Permits, OWS, SWPPP, P2 Plans, HMWMP, HMBP, ISWMP/QRP, EMS, and environmental regulatory compliance. Additionally, this candidate will be responsible for professional development of staff, mentoring, annual reviews, and QA/QC of all deliverables. Must be able to write proposals for DoD and private sector clients, subcontracts, teaming, and communicate with corporate and management staff.
Candidate must have proven experience in strategic planning, staff management, business operations, business development/marketing, and client relations working with the DoD, other governmental agencies, and commercial clients. As Senior Project/Program Manager, a successful candidate must have proven staff management experience and be able to provide positive direction, guidance, and oversee the growth & performance of more than 10 professional employees. Must be a proven leader, self-motivated, driven, and have a positive attitude, and possess the ability to successfully manage a variety of environmental compliance or engineering projects and professional employees. Bachelors degree in engineering, environmental science, or similar discipline is required. Minimum of 10 years of environmental consulting, project management, supervision, business development, and working with DoD and commercial clients on a variety of environmental and engineering projects required. Travel throughout the U.S. and territories is required.
