The primary duties of the Senior Project Designer include responsibility for the aesthetic solution for large and/or complex healthcare projects. Meets directly with client, analyzes clients problems and conceives and develops architectural solutions commensurate with their needs. Initiates and creates schematic designs and plans with responsibility for the preparation of presentation drawings, models and narratives. Represents the firm, participating as a key member of business development teams in presentations to prospective clients. Works with the various engineering disciplines throughout the schematic and design development phases to ensure that the solution accommodates the engineering needs and the owners program. May direct the activities of other design professionals, and act as a mentor to other staff members.

Position could be based in Toronto, London, Ottawa or Kingston.
