Position Description
HDR is currently in need of an Architectural Planner/Programmer for our Alexandria, VA office. This individual will be responsible for programming, functional space planning, and front-end design user meetings/presentations for the a variety of architectural projects.

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture required.
Must be a Registered Architect.
10+ years of experience required; specific experience relative to healthcare, science/technology, and civic projects strongly preferred.
Must be able to lead a team on projects.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) required.
Good planning and mentoring skills a must.
Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required.
